About Us
I’m Ryan Kaye, and I’m the proud founder of Turf Daddy—a venture inspired by my passion for golf and the joy of watching my son, Hayden, embrace the game.
As an avid golfer, I always dreamed of introducing my children to the sport I love. It all started when Hayden was just 9 months old. His fascination with golf began to blossom whenever he saw it on TV or watched me swing a club. Hearing Hayden Say “Golf!” every time he woke up or spotted a golf broadcast on TV while daddy was watching was a clear sign that he was excited to learn.
In order for me to make it fun and a convenient way for him to practice, I decided to install a putting green in our backyard. It was a decision that transformed our outdoor space into a playground of learning and fun. And I have to say, it was one of the best choices I’ve ever made.
Today, at 16 months old, Hayden shares his love for the game with his big sister, Layla. Our backyard putting green has become a big part of our family’s life, providing countless moments of joy and bonding.
Turf Daddy was born out of this personal experience and commitment to making quality turf accessible to families who want to create their own special spaces.
